What Former Catwoman Michelle Pfeiffer Thinks Of Anne Hathaway — Does She Approve?

HollywoodLife.com caught up with Michelle & got her exclusive thoughts on Anne’s upcoming turn as Catwoman!

When most people think of Catwoman, they immediately envision Michelle Pfeiffer‘s iconic turn as sexy Selina Kyle 1992′s Batman Returns – so we were dying to get her thoughts on Anne Hathaway‘s upcoming portrayal in The Dark Knight Rises. ”I think [Anne] is going to be amazing,” Michelle told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Oct. 17 at Elle‘s Women in Hollywood event.

“She has the darkness and the comedy — she’s got it all!” Michelle continued. “She’s going to be great.”

We’re glad Michelle is giving Anne’s performance two paws up, because we’d really hate to see a catfight break out between those two Hollywood heavyweights. (Sorry, cat pun alert!)

If there is Peacockwoman in the movie, Anna would be a great choice.. with that annoying voice of hers it is a total no no for Catwoman. Catwoman – deep seductive voice. Anna Hatahaway – shrieking look-at-me-im-catwoman-woohoo! voice. Total FAIL

Oh great. It’s Heath Ledger Joker vs. Jack Nicholson Joker all over again. Only this time it’s Anne Hathaway Catwoman vs. Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman. People are so stupid and idiotic when you give them a keyboard. Wait until the actual movie comes out before you judge, goofballs. Personally I couldn’t take Michelle Pfeifer seriously as Catwoman now that I am older and look back on it.

wow, hathaway is a shitty choise. the question is, why mess with perfection? same way i feel about ledger. despite the praise for his joker, i have a feeling its more cuz he died. if he died, not so many people would call his joker amazing. an pfieffer was the perfect catwoman. burtons vision for that character was amazing. again, why mess with perfetion? pfieffer was and is and always will be th perfect catwoman, not this fugly homely boring nolanized one.
