Jessica Simpson has denied that she’s expecting a baby with fiance Eric Johnson, but the rumors aren’t going away! She was recently spotted in what looks like a maternity dress, but look closer — her roots have clearly not been dyed in a while! Women who are expecting are often advised to stay away from hair dye during their pregnancy. Is that what’s going on with Jessica?

Dr. Melody T. McCloud, M.D., an obstetrician-gynecologist and author, told us: “It is not good to dye your hair when pregnant, and it is recommended not to do so.” According to her, the chemicals in hair dye — especially certain red dyes — can affect the baby.

There you have it! Jessica sure isn’t helping those rumors die down!
