The Duggar family keeps growing… and growing… and growing!

19 Kids and Counting parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have 19 kids already, but they would love to have more! In an interview with The Huffington Post, the couple discussed their ever-expanding family.

“We would love more but, of course, I’m 45, so we don’t know if that will ever happen again,” said Michelle. “But we love more!” But even Michelle admitted that when she sees her family in their mini bus she thinks, “Whoa, that’s a lot of people.”

Although they wouldn’t rule out the possibility of more, the focus for now is on the children they do have. “We encourage people: Enjoy your children,” Michelle added. “They grow up really fast and the time you have with them will be so short.”

The couple also understand that their family is different than most. “With our show there are a lot of people that won’t understand a family with 19 kids, but they are very intrigued,” Jim Bob said.

Nineteen obviously is a lot of kids, but they’re such lovely, funny, well-behaved, helpful children and it’s obvious that Michelle and Jim Bob have made sure they have time for everyone. If they feel they can handle more I think that’s their prerogative… and if anyone could manage 20 kids it’d be them!

DUH! this is like their religion, the more kids the more holier!

If they can afford and handle more children, then there isn’t a problem! It looks like they know what they are doing, I haven’t heard of any of the children getting into trouble.

yes i think 19 is alot but if you hv ever seen the show they handle everyone so well and there is no screaming or chaos like on kate plus 8. the kids behave extremely well and the older kids are always always always willing to help. they hv everything completely under control and 19 kids works fr them.

I don’t believe it is for anyone to decide how many is too many. That number is too personal. What is too many for some will not be enough for others yet way more than some want. Give it a rest. They have a group of children with manners and morals. That’s a lot better than a lot of other children in much smaller families.

Completely agree! If they can handle and afford them, then it’s no ones business. Heck, even if they couldn’t handle or afford them it would STILL be no ones business.
