Charice Looks Sexier Than Ever Dancing In New Music Video, 'Louder!'

Fri, October 14, 2011 2:38pm EDT by 132 Comments

We always knew Charice had an incredible voice, but we had no clue she could dance too! Watch her new ‘Louder’ music video!

Wow...Charice Pempengco is one sexy mamacita! The 19-year-old super star released the music video for her single “Louder” and it’s hotter than anything we’ve ever seen from her. Wearing more makeup than usual and trendy clothes, Charice sings in the rain, looks up into the camera with sultry eyes and even breaks it down with back up dancers. Needless to say, we’re impressed.

We also love how even with backup dancers and makeup, Charice always keeps her videos simple…relying at the end of the day on her incredible vocal abilities to carry her.

Charice’s album, Infinity, is available now in Japan and can be pre-ordered worldwide. What do YOU think of Charice’s new video? Do you like her sexy style? Sound off below!

Its an excellent Music Video ,much better than her prevous videos. I like her dancing moves with her back up dancers, a perfect combination that everybody could watch and enjoy from child to elderly all over the world. She has got amazing, angelic, powerful voice than anybody else that everybody knows.Just a comment for her album distributors, please could you speed-up of distributing her albums all over the world as it seems a bit too slow and even in itune

As always we can’t get enough of our Superstar, what with her killer vocals in her hit single “Louder” , hot saucy moves and new sultry looks in a seemingly “mediocre” music video …
everyone is entitled to their own opinion … Princess Charice deserves the best of everything (great! not just good! got it ?! …Mr. Manager,Mr. Director ???!!! ) Peace !!!

The jaunty moves and sprightly music beat are awesome, but what makes this MTV ferocious is THE voice!

This video is below standard. Charice deserve better than this chessy video. I feel dizzy with too many switching of scenes. The director of this video is stupid.

Charice is an amazing singer but this video is ugly. Who the hell choreograph and produce this video should be banned by Charice management.

Wow wow wow… she is freakin’ awesome to this music video. Great to see her on the other side. Sexy moves don’t need for being naked, and that, they made it youthful and respectable music video ever exclusively for my favorite – Charice.

Video face-off? That’s nothing. The world needs a live face off among the best and popular. Charice I am sure will give it a go. I am not sure about the others. Ask serious musicians.

Before you declare this video as really bad, better see the original and HD version now posted in Entertainment Weekly (EW.com). It is interesting to note that while that Louder music video version was posted only this morning (about 9 AM EST), at this time of writing, it already has 445 comments which are mostly positive.

Such a pathetic. Your “poor” comment reflects your “poor intelligence and wisdom”. It is better to be appreciative of what others give than giving comments without the bed-rock wisdom.

Income is the real gauge. Charice made more money than most singers with the so called popular videos. Oh I forgot, it is the singing that is more important. People around the world of all ages cannot be deceived.

dear charice management: how did asians like kyu sakamoto and jay sean have “down” and “sukiyaki” score no. 1 on the bb hot 100? simply because they released hot videos of these songs. hot video for hot 100 chart. this charice “louder” japanese version video isn’t hot to me so i hope that the american one will be different. thank you.

Mediocre video indeed. But we have to be reminded that video views aren’t the only determinant on whether a song hits the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 40 tier. My hunch is that no one of Charice’s singles from her debut album hit the Hot 100 top 40 simply because none was *serviced* to mainstream radio. Louder wasn’t serviced, too. Its spring to summer and fall sales figures won’t be enough to reach the top 40 and even with a naive, ordinary video like this, it wouldn’t add to the impact. Radio service is the key.

Wow!!…the best video ever!!…move over Lady Gaga…move over Selena Gomez, here comes the new Cha with her exotic moves. I’m telling you she’s serious, she has waited long enough already. She now has a 1 – 2 punch combination, voice and moves, and it’s a knockout.

bland video, as an allvoices.com blogger put it today, and i so agree with her. and charice’s usage of auto-tune again, as dictated by her producers/managers, doesn’t help our irritated ears neither. thumbs down to this MV. please play it softly, not louder. :)

‘Louder’ gained positive reviews from contemporary music critics. According to Amanda Hensel of PopCrush, Charice actually comes to terms with the soiled love affair pretty quickly, and vows to keep marching on because it’s the right thing to do. She also adressed ‘Louder’ to be destined for greatness as the feel-good anthem of the summer[2]. Bill Lamb of About.com reviewed Charice’s song, claiming “All of the past history aside, the new song “Louder” is a great pop record. It puts 19 year old Charice in a youthful, uptempo context that would slide perfectly into current pop radio playlists. You will find yourself singing along with the chorus, “I’ll let my heart speak louder than my head,” before you are finished with hearing the song the first time.”

what? anthem of summer? it’s already autumn and the song was nowhere on the radio. we are talking about the video here, not the song that flopped when released in may. hahaha!

bad video. even if you have this on HD, it’s bad overall. not a good thing for charice since she is a very good vocalist who deserves great videos like those of the divas with her vocal range, like whitney, mariah and celine. and they release her video almost one year after releasing her song, eh? what kind of strategy is that? to make sure that her song doesn’t chart? what kind of manager’s brain does she have? i’m mad and sad.
