The girls and I had a blast at the pamper party we attended over at Imani’s house. The conversations were hot and heavy and full of surprises! But, hey what do you expect from a group of high spirited, compassionate women? We speak our minds while getting our points across by any means necessary … most of the time and some more than others!
The temperatures were blazing when Draya and Laura met up at a lovely park complete with a stream and little duckies swimming around. They had a heated discussion about Draya wanting to set the record straight and apologize to Laura about a few things that were heavy on her mind. I’m still trying to figure out if they got it straightened out — but they seem to be OK which is a good sign.
Going to the event where we introduced Imani to her new prospective love interest was a ton of fun! We learned a lot about cancer research, as well as enjoyed hanging out together and playing matchmaker extraordinaires for our girl. Imani really seemed to like a couple of the guys, especially the one I introduced her to named Kyle. He was a really nice guy and cute too — and he made her smile a lot!
Laura’s charity event was really great too, except some things I had heard prior to that event had me uptight. But having a lot of love for Laura, it made it hard for me to confront the situation right then. So I tried talking to Draya about it and she seemed a bit confused as to who I was talking about. She is usually the one in the hot seat so when I told her someone else in the group had been talking bad about me, she was very surprised and I assured her it would all come out in due time. Stay tuned to see what happens with that issue.
Laura and Malaysia‘s lunch date was really adorable. These two ladies were able to put the past incident behind them and continue to get to know each other more which is always great amongst groups of friends.
Overall the love between all of us may not have shown through in this episode, but I like to believe that it does exist even if only in our minds!
