Selena Gomez always seems so calm, cool and collected, it’s a fun change of pace to watch her return to her comedic roots in this new MTV Europe Music Awards promo. The commercial begins in typical Selena style — the 19-year-old performer is sitting in a pink bedroom, wearing a lovely white dress…

“Finally I get to host the EMAs,” she says to herself in the mirror.

“Seriously? Shut your face! Who else could it be?” says her reflection, who’s a completely transformed, street Selena. From there, the tough Selena begins rapping…and it’s utterly fantastic.

“Who else better than me to be hostin’ the show? People know who the eff I is…I’m a pro!” Selena raps.

That was a cute video. Let’s be honest here. She’d have no career at all if not for Justin. Sure, she’d sell some music and be ok…but a major star? Nooo wayyy.

That’s why she’s with an underage guy. He makes (as of last year) around $55 million. That’s about $54,999,999 more than her.

They’re both so young anyway. Problem with that is that you feel everything much more intensely. She’s going to be so totally crushed when he comes out of the closet.

He fixed her broken heart and put her on top. Exactly as his song goes. Those two kids are overplaying it just a little bit :).
