Selena Gomez and Eli Roth make an odd pair! Selena posted a photo of herself with the actor-director on her Twitter — is she trying to transition into more mature Hollywood roles?
“One of the highlights of my life. Yup,” Selena tweeted along with the pic. But what does it mean?
Eli is famously part of the “Splat Pack”– a group of directors known for their gory horror movies. And not only did he direct the very gruesome and violent Hostel, but he also starred in Inglourious Basterds as a soldier who used his baseball bat to bash other people’s heads in.
Is Selena hoping to collaborate with Eli? It would make sense if she — at 19 — was looking to make a career leap from cutesy roles to something suited for an older crowd. However, going from Disney to working with Eli is a very big jump!

ok so at first she seemed like this cool tomboyish, semi-goth, semi-punk girl who wore black and didn’t wear makeup or conform on her youtube channel.
then she got more popular and started wearing makeup and ‘selling out’ as they say
then she dated justin bieber
now she is revealing she loves slasher films…
im SO confused, I want to have a crush on her, but
bieber = uncool poser
makeup = conforming , ugly
love of horror = hot
old tomboyish style = hot
it is so confusing….
