Since her estranged husband’s tragic suicide nearly two months ago, Taylor Armstrong has picked herself up by her boot straps and is getting her life back to normal, a friend tells HollywoodLife.com. Good for her!
We cannot even imagine the pain Taylor Armstrong must have felt after discovering her estranged husband Russell Armstrong‘s hanging body following his suicide in Beverly Hills, Calif. Aug. 15. In the beginning, Taylor could barely leave the house, she was so upset — but now, nearly two months later, things are starting to look up once again.
“Taylor is doing so much better. She is picking up the pieces from her husband’s suicide and has really learned a lot about herself through this trying time,” a source close to the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tells us. “She has really gotten extremely close with her daughter and her life is getting back to as normal as you could imagine it being.”
The insider adds, “Friends are really happy with her progress and are not scared for her, as they once were when everything was happening. She has really adapted well.”
Not only has Taylor started acting more like her outgoing self again, but she’s ready to take her experience and use it to help others.
“She has spoken about doing public speaking to help others and she has also talking about starting a foundation that would support those people that are thinking suicide is the only answer,” her friends says.
We’re thrilled to hear Taylor — and her daughter — are doing so well in the wake of this horrible tragedy. Our hearts go out to her and her family during this emotional time.
