‘Basketball Wives LA’ star Jackie Christie is blogging for HollywoodLife.com, sharing her thoughts about each episode! Read what she has to say below!

Wow is all I can say about episode six of our show Basketball Wives LA is that it was explosive! From the opening scene of the girls, Laura and Draya‘s MMA tousle, the drama was in full swing!

However on a lighter note, Doug and I enjoyed having dinner with Matt and Gloria and getting to know them even better. Matt’s open expression of his love for her was sweet. We all had a great time.

Going shopping with the girls was fun too, but I found myself wondering if what I was saying to Imani in the clothing store about finding the right guy was really resonating with her, because her and Laura were having a ball talking about the height and size of the guy’s package! Fun though. Anyway, I meant it when I told Imani she was a queen and needed to be treated as such. At that point in our friendship, I had grown to love her like a sister and only want the best for her.

Gloria and I got a chance to have lunch alone and it was a real treat! We got to catch up and have girl time as well as share our feelings on a few subjects. And besides the food was delicious!

The temperature definitely changed a bit once Laura came over to my house to discuss the whole Draya debacle once again, but this time we were going to see if there was any truth to any of it — not that the Internet is 100% correct. By the way I was not serious when I told her I always read the blogs — not so, only the ones that interest me. Well we were able to find a few disturbing things, but we wanted to get together with the others to decide a plan on how we would ask her once and for all to come clean. And if it were true, I was ready to extend a helping hand to her and try to assist her how ever I could.

So Laura and I met up with the other girls to discuss what we ran across about the rumors we heard and that we had found a police report as well. It was decided at lunch that the entire group would meet up and talk to Draya and try to get to the bottom of it all. But, it all went south at Beso Restaurant. Once we got there and began our discussions, I was still shocked along with the others about all that we learned that night! Stay tuned.

Just a quick note – how in the heck can any of you on the show criticize Draya for what she is doing or has done. Laura is always talking about kick rocks; but didn’t Gilbert make her KICK ROCKS from DC to LA and now she has no self worth that she would go back to him after he treated her like a GROUPIE.. GROUPIES are probably treated better than that. Imani–no comment except, go back and get the kid you left behind for a man… Jackie–i expected better than you since you were the older more mature and stable woman..however, i guess even you have skeletons–hence a 20+ year old daughter that you threw out of your house. Gloria and Laura are both beneath even commenting even further… Laura needs a real job and stip living off of Gilbert’s money and take care of her own four children on her own..i guess that is a joke..and by the end of this year, she will be the one KICKIN ROCKS…LOL

Jackie, Laura, Gloria, and Imani are to LA Basketball Wives, what NeNe Leakes is to ATL Housewives…Sad, Bitter, and Media Whores. Whatever Draya did or did not do, is her business. None of them pay her bills or put food in her little boy’s mouth.

* Jackie needs to focus on her own children. One blogs awful stuff about her and the other tells her nothing, because clearly if kissing at boy at 18 brings “mom” to tears she is clearly unstable.

*Laura needs to control her temper, before she gets locked up. After 3 weeks she should have been with her infant, not getting her behind beat. Plus, she sleeps with married men. So that makes her Crazy and a Whore. Crazy Whore!

*Gloria has a man what will not marry her, but feels its ok to abuse her. Hell even Ike married Tina.

*Imani-sad, lonely, evil Imani. A person who feels it is ok to call someone worthless in secert, but after 9 years a man told her, she were worthless in public by calling the wedding off on her wedding day. A man she denied her own blood for.

However-I would like to say I’m sorry for the statements I just made about each woman. I don’t know you (like you don’t know Draya), I just googled you (like you googled Draya), and I just don’t have anything better to do but hate on you (like you hate on Draya).

Jackie, what is the REAL problem? Do you hate yourself so much that you must demoralize another person? I’m so shocked to see women of color hate on each other instead of uplifting and embracing those who need guidance. Wow as a black female freshman attendee of a prestigious undergrad university and future graduate, the only person I would hang out with on the show is Draya. I never knew that being married to a “basketball star” made a woman valuable or being a “stripper who everyone speaks about” made a woman worthless. I was taught that every human being has inherent worth and dignity and as a result, are equals. It is very sad for me to watch a group of middle aged women and some a bit older than I am act dumber than my teenage counterparts or on the same level. Either way, no one on this show should be “ganging up” on anyone, especially Draya since neither of you have become famous on your own accord. If I am correct, you are linked to basketball players, people who have talent in the realm of basketball.If Draya is so worthless and the rest of the females ,except for Malaysia, do not want to hang out with her, what makes all of you so much more valuable than Draya?Is it your willingness to participate in 16 weddings, is it going back to a man that will not marry you after you have had 4 or 2 of his children, or is it nationally announcing to the world your problems with men? When this question can be efficiently answered with proper empirical and causal logic, maybe I will sympathize, but as it cannot be answered, then the claims and cruel actions of the BBWs and BBG’s cannot be justified.

I agree with most everyone on here. This “beating up” on Draya is sad. If she did those things maybe she is “lost” As a young mother we should help her to be a better mother, maybe she does not know how. It takes other moms to helps other moms the stress can sometimes be overwelming if you do not have a support system. And the older moms on this show should be ashamed of themselves. No one is a perfect mom and most of us have all made mistakes and most of us can look back and see where we could have done something better, but at the time it was happening we thought we were doing the right thing. Being a mom is the toughest job there will ever be and the more suppprt we have as mothers the more we can succeed at it. Older moms have been through a lot, we can pass that wisdom to younger mom or at least be there for them. It is bad enought that most mom (at least I do continue to “beat myself” up on not being a good mom and I pray that I don’t make so many mistakes that it will harm my child. I am so shocked at this show. But one shining hope is Malaysia, she is so sweet and she is not a follower, she is her own person that always wants to do the right thing. I just love her!!!

WOW…. I am totally amazed how these women call themselves so “MATURE” about their relationships and families. As for ganging on Draya (except Maylasia), Jackie, Imani, Gloria & Laura you ladies are the Webster definition of “stupidity.”

Lastly, Jackie…..as a mother of a 13 year old, I don’t have to have a “therapist” to come and talk with my child. We are more like sister’s but she “knows” when “mama rules”. Here is some motherly advice: use “common sense.” The reason your daughter won’t “open up to you is because you focus toooo much on your …”let’s see what theme we are going to do for this anniversary!!” I bet my last dollar that you very seldom gave your daughter the attention during her early teen yesrs. Think about….you constantly let “everyone” know that wherever you husband was playing “you were there”. What about your daughter? Sorry, it’s too late…now it’s “biting your butt.” Remember: “Children do grow up.”

What I don’t understand is why in the world did they think Draya needed to explain anything to them in regards to her past, or what was printed about her. She doesn’t have to answer to anyone. It really seems as if you guys are picking on Draya because she is different and you can. Where do we have the right to judge. I am going to say that you Ladies, are very “Blessed”, that you are able to go to work daily, provide for your family and spend time with your family. If you see someone that is in need, instead of bringing them down help them, if they don’t need your help at least you know you reached out to help them.
