The music video was shot in Paris and it’s all in black and white! Do you like it?
Adele has done it again! The incredibly talented British singer has just released her music video for “Someone Like You” and it’s by far her best! “One of things I love about Adele is that she knows that her voice and her songwriting are her greatest assets and she focuses on that. So rather than put together some elaborate video, she again opted to go simple and in turn wound up with something really powerful,” John Mitchell, Editor of MTV Newsroom Blog, tells HollywoodLife.com.
The video was shot in the early morning hours in Paris. Adele looks heartbroken as she wanders the French streets and along the Seine looking for her lost lover. At some point you see him in the shadows and it reminds you of every breakup you’ve ever had.
“Who hasn’t taken this same sad walk after a breakup? And to film it in black and white with this grainy, old film effect gives the whole thing an air of timelessness — much like her music itself,” Mitchell adds.
