Justin Bieber brought GF Selena Gomez along for his latest video shoot for his Christmas album and he sang to the crowd! Watch and read exclusive report!
Justin Bieber was busy last night, Sept. 28, shooting a music video for his Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, and to get everyone pumped and ready to work, the 17-year-old singer performed “Jingle Bells” over a loud speaker!
“I know it’s not Christmas, but we need to be in the Christmas spirit because I’m shooting a song for my Christmas album. So thank you guys for showing up and showing support,” Justin told everyone at midnight when the shoot began.
According to local newspapers, Franklin city officials gave the Biebs clearance to shoot in one block of Main Street between 7 p.m. yesterday and 5 a.m. today. Sources say the shoot went until 4 a.m.
“Justin’s shoot lasted about 20 hours. There was fake snow and Santa all over the place” our source says, adding that Justin spent a lot of that time on his tour bus. “He would come out and sign autographs throughout the day. Also, he had Chick-Fil-A delivered. There was rain, which delayed things quite a bit, but fans stayed regardless.”
Justin’s girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was on set too, but she didn’t distract the Biebs from his work.
“Selena was there, but they didn’t show any PDA,” the insider says. “It seemed like he didn’t want to get his fans into a frenzy, good or bad.”
Even though he was busy working, Justin still managed to make some new friends.
Our source dishes, “He took some time to see the Franklin Police Department officers, who were helping during the shoot. They took pictures and shook hands. He was really into talking and hanging out with the officers.”
Sharon Norbash, head host at The Red Pony Restaurant tells HollywoodLife.com, “Justin filmed his music video right out front of our restaurant. It was complete pandemonium. There were thousands of girls sobbing and screaming. We could hear them screaming and crying inside the restaurant. There were girls climbing the trees just to catch a glimpse of Justin. They always film music videos in our town, so when we got the notice a couple of weeks ago that they were going to be filming and shutting down the street, we all thought, ‘No big deal!’ But then yesterday in the late afternoon, the owner of our restaurant, Jason McConnell, received a letter saying that it would be Justin Bieber. People just started going crazy and the streets filled up with thousands of girls in a matter of minutes.”
Justin’s Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, drops Nov. 1, so we’re sure the video will come out around then too. Are YOU excited to see it?
