As sweet as it would be to have some royalty covering the pages of US ‘Vogue’, it won’t be happening! The palace sets the record straight!

Just yesterday we were so excited at the possibility of Kate Middleton posing for the cover of American Vogue, but a palace rep says she has no plans of doing anything with the mag!

While I hate to go disappointing all the royally obsessed Kate Middleton fans, The Duchess of Cambridge has officially laid to rest any rumors of her appearing on the cover of US Vogue. “The Duchess has no plans whatsoever to do any cover shoots,” the palace exclusively told HollywoodLife.

As rumor has it, Anna Wintour and the gang over at Vogue were hoping to secure a shoot by Mario Testino with the divine Duchess gracing the front cover, but all the buzz was, unfortunately, dismissed as of today.

Of course Kate’s probably way too busy with royal matters as she is said to be in the process of deciding where she can best, “make a difference” People magazine reported.

Hopefully the Duchess will find some time in the near future to take over the glossy pages of Vogue — we aren’t ready to give up on the dream just yet! We think she’d make a great front cover with all her pristine candidness! Would you want to see Kate on the front cover of the fashion mag?
