Watch & vote: Do you think Charice performed these songs even better than Beyoncé and Adele?

Happy Monday, Chasters! Charice took the stage at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore over the weekend — sorry, I’m just catching up now — and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t share her incredible performances with you. In this video, she does a medley of her own song “Pyramid,” plus Adele‘s “Rolling In The Deep” and Beyoncé‘s “Crazy In Love.”

Watch the video and vote: Does Charice nail these songs even better than the original artists?

what a great great talent, singing live in all her performances whether in tv, concert, appearances, guesting. She sings from national anthem, rap, ballad, classical, pop, soul, country songs, Christmas songs. (Name it, she delivers)
She memorizes easily the song lyric, can change and blend the tune particularly the cover songs. (more than hundred songs)
I can say no more, Charice is really a gifted and best artist.

Just type Charice F1 Singapore and see the future of
Ballads, R&B , and Pop !

The ballads were soaring, acoustics too touching you will cry… and pop ? I thought Michael is still alive.

How do you quantify an all- around talent like Charice ?
Difficult….really !

Her performance in Singapore is just brilliant. props to her band :D

Lance – Bass
Laroi – Drums
Chris – Guitar
Troy – musical director

Her solo tour in Japan introduced us to her own musical style and her dance which gave us the best concerts ever.
Just keep it up Charice and do what you love.
We want to hear more of your music.

The original singer of a song will always have that distinct privilege. At the same time, in the case of Charice, when she covers a song, she gives it her own unique style and with her beautiful and powerful voice, she makes the song her own. It’s like having two originals :)

Regarding Charice’s own songs, she just saw the rough cut of Louder http://bit.ly/nZJWcc

The gods (Oprah, D. Foster, Ellen, Warner Bros., her publicist, manager, mother, and entertainment writers like you) must be so proud of Charice’s blossoming into a world class performer. She has redefined her image. Charice’s English communication skills have dramatically improved. She’s got the groove on stage- engages her audience, dances with the beat like a professional and manages the stage, crowd and her band just like any Hollywood seasoned performers.

I believe that her long stay in the US, series of concerts, interviews and appearances on US TV shows, mini role in Glee, working on set with Selma Sayak and others in ” Here Comes the Boom,” productions/collaborarations of her singles and music videos, and her incredible talent and drive to succeed are factors of Charice’s maturity as a young performer. Let me include the unconditional support of her Hollywood gods.

David Foster was right on the money by pushing her Asian background to tap the big Asian market. She is now well loved in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, China and the Philippines (foremost). Her popularity is capturing the hearts of people in Russia, Italy, France, Australia, and many South American countries as well.

She has from the start gained mass following from 40-yr old and over US market demographics, who love her renditions of famous ballad songs. Not to forget that even famous and wealthy personalities in the US have become her avid supporters as well.

Though her rise to fame in America has not been as fast as what we all have been wishing to happen, it is evident that she has begun breaking into the teen demographics. Simply check the many You tube uploads of many American teens singing her songs. It may not have a Bieber impact. One thing for sure, however, Charice will continue to rise and remain an iconic personality in the entertainment industry while others instant fame fade into obscurity.

I like her simple do. I prefer her without a hat on. Her sexy and daring moves can tell us that she is keenly paying attention to performances of other famous singers and applying some of them. Her band complements her style. They seem to have great work relationships. The music direction/arrangement and choreography are indeed spectacular.

I wish she starts singing her other songs from the first album. There are so many great songs that can be rearranged and combined into one song. Nobody is singing to me and Breathe out are great songs and will be great together if rearranged into one song.

Kudos to ANDY SWIFT for the update. We will pass your writings about Charice via tweet, blogs and other social networking forums.
