Team Jen has no love for Brad as the highly-hyped ‘Moneyball’ gets trounced at the theatres by a re-release of ‘The Lion King!’
Brad Pitt‘s cruel recent comments about Jennifer Aniston shocked America, and in return fans did not support his latest big-screen effort Moneyball! In fact, he was beat at the box office by The Lion King 3D, a movie that’s 17 years old!
Lion King brought in $22.1 million, while Brad’s passion project trailed with $20.7 million, Deadline.com reports. They’re both great openings, but let’s face it — the Lion King first came out in the ’90s!
In Brad’s defense, Moneyball WAS the highest-grossing baseball-themed movie ever. But still — Brad is a HUGE star and could definitely open movies bigger and better!
