The two hikers return after being accused of spying — how incredible!
Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer, two American hikers who were released last week from an Iranian prison after two years, finally landed on American soil Sept. 25!
The hikers were arrested in 2009 for crossing the Iranian border and were accused of being spies, CNN reports. Their flight from Oman — the state that helped negotiate their release — to New York was one of the best moments of their lives.
“Just hours after we left prison, we were able to swim in the calm waters of the Gulf,” Josh said. “We stayed up all night with our loved ones and watched the most beautiful sunrise we have ever seen.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers — are these the luckiest Americans ever?
