Bad News For 'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood: Gary's Moving Away With Leah & He's Flirting With Other Girls!

Gary’s moving Leah further away from her mommy Amber, so it’s going to be harder for Amber to see Leah! Is this a bad idea?

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has more drama on her plate! Her baby daddy Gary Shirley is moving their 2-year-old daughter Leah 3o minutes away from their hometown of Anderson, Ind., to a new house. And it seems like Amber’s never going to have the chance to win Gary back, as he’s actively trying to find a new love interest. Gary’s even asking for girls’ numbers over Twitter!

“Leah and I are moving to noblesville by the lake and anderson is 30 min away,” Gary tweeted Sept. 22.

Gary’s also getting very aggressive on Twitter trying to find a lady. “I’ve been on a couple [of dates],” Gary admitted. “I mean I do wanna find the right girl.”

He’s even asking for different girls’ phone numbers!

One girl asked: “gimme shirts and ill give u dat,” to which Gary quickly replied, “If I had your num you might just get invited on party night who knows”

When a second girl asked Gary to hang out, he seemed to be totally on board:

“Yeah give me your num thru dm,” Gary answered.

Gary currently has custody of Leah, but at least he still lives close enough that Amber can see her baby. But if he takes Leah further away, it will be harder for Amber to spend time with her daughter!

HollyMoms, do you think it’s a bad idea for Gary to move Leah away from her mother, even though it’s only 30 minutes?

does it matter if she has mcdonalds, my dad used to give me mcdonalds when i was a little girl and it must of been really bad then, i think shes just a big baby, you don’t know if garys a big person or just put the weight on, it doesnt make him a bad dad..
people that abuse there kids are bad parents, not people that feed them food -.-

Honestly, Im all for those kids moving to quieter neighborhoods, but meeting girls on twitter doesn’t speak to maturity at all.

I worry for EVERY SINGLE one of these teen mom children. All the girls seem to be shacking up with random guys, the dads are all over the place, ugh.

Umm, i don’t see anything at all wrong with meeting someone on twitter. he could meet the love of his life on Twitter, shouldnt you be happy that he may actually find someone that will love him for who he is and so he can get the hell over Amber!!! People meet there loved ones on dating sites all the time, and hey dont you remember the couple with the exact same first and last name, they found each other on facebook and today are married!!! There is nothing wrong with Meeting someone at a resturaunt and there is nothing wrong wih meeting someone on twittr!! But i do agree that if there going to be dating different Men or women then not to bring them in to the childs life untill you know you guys are serious. How do you expect them to meet someone if its so wrong to meet new people??

i don’t see amber as a bad mom…troubled…pyscho…yeah but i think if amber commits to therapy all of that can be changed…i think gary should at least think about amber’s situation on not being able to see her daughter…its clear that gary and amber should NOT and i repeat SHOULD NOT be together…thats just a no-no. i believe that both of them should be able to find happiness though and think of leah as well. i think thats their problem. they don’t think about her as much as they should (in my opinion) instead they’re worried about what the other is doing and how to get back together or something. smh! but at leah’s age i don’t think it would be a good idea to move her where amber can’t really see her..a child needs both a mother and father. and in all honesty people might say how leah doesn’t need to be around amber b/c she’s a bad mom but at the end of the day…as leah gets older that will have to be her decision to make as to whether or not she wants amber in her life. taking her away now may cause resentment issues later and she might turn up to be just like amber.! hot-headed. and i know no one wants that. =)

A good father does not make it difficult for his daughter to see her mother. A good father does not continually feed his daughter bad food. A good father does not look to hook up with randoms on Twitter.

Both of these parents are not ideal. They were young and have a lot to learn. Is Leah’s safety in danger with Amber? I haven’t seen or heard anything that would indicate this to be the case…

Kids always side with the underdog in the long run. Leah will resent Gary for making it difficult for her to have a relationship with Amber.

Word to the wise…never interfere with the relationship of a child with both of its parents. Monitor if needed. Make sure safety isn’t an issue. But don’t interfere. Children need both their parents.

Oh, and a happy meal is the right size (right size, calorie wise – still not good) meal for an adult…way too much calories and fat for a child.

I do care about her health thank you, but honestly have you not seen the McDonalds commercials and advertisements, they’re making their happy meals Healthier for kids, and with that i’m sure Gary makes good choices for his daughter.I’m not saying that a happy meal every day is good but you can change up the variety and get the healthier options like apple dippers and milk instead of soda and fries. and i loooove your name :D immaturity is soo overated these days and your one of the few in a million that proves it. and i went through childhood obesity thank you very very much, i do care about it. But it was because of decisions i made when i was little.

Honestly idc how much McDonald’s is making their food “healthier” by adding apples to the meal, doesn’t change the fact that there’s A LOT of preservatives in all the burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, etc…. Not good for a two yr old in excess……

Ok Seriously, this is asking if its a bad idea for Gary to be moving Leah away from Amber. Not a healthy food talk -.- seriously theres nothing wrong with Leah she’s cute as a button! if your worried about her freaking health then why not talk about it on a page that mentions it? instead of bad mouthing the parents because what we’ve seen leah have a happy meal a few times. KIDS LOVE HAPPY MEALS! i’m sure she eats healthy foods as well but you just pick pick pick when you see one thing wrong. Yes we all know Amber is a Psycho lady but hey Gary is being a good father and thats a great thing. I’m sure he’s taking great care of Leah with or without the public or media’s interference or bad mouthing. Honestly i think its swell that Gary is moving further away from Amber. comments about leah’s health are warranted.
her parents are both overweight, though amber has slimmed down.
up until age 2 kids are fine to drink whole milk .
after 2 their food needs to be a healthy balanced diet.
VEGGIES FRUITS BEANS GRAINS not junky happy meals.

I personally think, its an excellent idea for gary to move with leah, in the long run the childs safety is the main issue and hes looking after that by moving, if Amber has a outburst one of these days maybe baby Leah will be the victim, anger is a powerful thing and can be inflicted on anyone. with regards to the mc d’s..its his child, his decisions!
