'Basketball Wives LA' Star Jackie Christie Blogs: 'I Wish Kimsha, Tanya & Draya' Had Been At My Wedding!

‘Basketball Wives LA’ star Jackie Christie is blogging for HollywoodLife.com, sharing her thoughts about each episode! Read what she has to say below!

Hope everyone has recuperated from episode 4 of Basketball Wives LA. It was very special indeed. I cried through almost all of it, as I lost my beautiful mother Cora, to cancer the night before. My heart aches, but I know she is in heaven now. You see my mother is a very spiritual women whom I have learned so very much from and I’m so thankful to have been able to have this past year with her and hug her and tell her how much we all love her. May my mom now rest in peace.

A lot of people didn’t really know much about my husband’s and my many weddings until now, and I hope they felt the deep love we share. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. This last wedding is definitely my favorite and most special of all 16 weddings we’ve had because we had my mother and family with us via skype! Whom I owe a huge thank you too! As well as Shed Media and VH1 — LOVE YOU GUYS!!! My girlfriends, Laura, Gloria, Imani and Malaysia, makeup artist Dandre Michael, and Doug’s buddies were all there with us too. I wish Kimsha, Tanya and Draya, could also have joined us but it was still beautiful none the less.

Now back to my new favorite show on TV! I recall thinking when I saw Imani and Malaysia enjoying gelato that I felt a sisterhood of sorts building even though it was only for the moment. I was still quite impressed with their conversation and the honesty [they shared] between each other. I’m an avid believer that truth is the only way to be — at all cost!

Draya’s photo shoot was kind of cute, too. I wish I was there to defend myself regarding the whole wedding no show shenanigan she pulled, but hey stay tuned — maybe I will get the chance to talk to her about how I really felt about her not attending our wedding. I tend to get really annoyed when I can’t get right in someone’s face if they are accusing me of any wrong doing. I like to deal with it right then so things don’t have a chance to fester. You know, the mind can play tricks on you.

And seeing Imani with her little ones was a real treat as they are hilarious and cute as can be. It was a lot of special time with the ladies and our families, with a little of the drama that comes with it.

You will have to stay tuned to see what happens as there is much more to come regarding our wedding, the after party, the ladies and more!

Jackie Is an insecure beautiful black woman, but she is ugly within. When everyone, including her husband, looks at this season from the begining, she started out asking everyone what they thought of the other one. She is intimidated by light skined women. She is alays making remarks about other wives body. Her own daughter hates her. I know this situation of so well. My own offspring has this self hatred because I am light skined and she is dark. I think black is beautiful and that I had the prettiest darked skinned daughter. The color hatred runs deep. Jackie is so insecure, she marries her husband every year. If he looks at this seanson and the evil within his wife, I’m sure he will question alot of things, even her relationship with her daughter very beautiful daughter! Evil is an ugly thing that can not be hidden. Like Jackie said, the cream always rises to the top, so does jealousey and eveil. Can hid it for ever! I pray that she gets some help. And who adors her, beside her husband Doug? I’m going to state what one of our famous poets stated as well as paster Jeremiah Wright. My lightskin is due to a slave owner raping and having his sexual pleasures with my ancestors.I am blessed to be alive and thank God for every day all day. God is love. Love your sisters and one another.

It is obvious Jackie is fake, period. Draya is sweet and young and makes mistakes, but we have all been there at one time or another. Jackie needs to focus on dressing age appropriate and being a better role model for her own children. This ‘paycheck’ she is getting is also the ‘memoire’ that they have access to reflect upon…the fake-u-locity she exhibits is toooo much–pathetic. The loss of her mother should make her reflect on how she treats people and what is truly important. At least in the confines of this show,she is really exhibiting negativity- enough on her. Imani is judgemental as hell, as is Laura–apparently they have so many skeletons in their closet that to focus on Draya takes the heat off of them. I hope none of these ladies except maybe Draya and Malaysia do a season two.

Jackie and Imani envy draya to the point where they developed this hatred for her. We all know by now that they dont hate her because of her past , but because of the fact that draya is young, fresh, beautiful, and positive. They are old azz, contradictory and hypocritical bitches who have nothing better to do with their time than to pick on the ones who actually provide for themselves in stead of depending on their men.

Where do I begin with you? Oh, wait let me start by saying…I am sorry for your loss. I hope the tears you shed on TV are real because I cant really tell. I hate to say that in light of the fact that you lost your mother but… it just doesnt feel right.

Moving on… You saying you wish Draya and Tonya was at your wedding is a joke. You just wish you had more ammo to sling at these people so that you can feel better about your own crazyness. You have taken drama to a whole new level…trust.

Since Doug is not bringing in any new money…maybe its time to consider SAVING! I mean one day you gonna wish you had some of the money you wasting on these displays of opulence. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. How many divorce parties will you have when your marriage falls into the “HOUSEWIVES CURSE?”

As a black woman I am embarrased for you… you could be more of a role model for Draya but instead you take joy in looking down your nose at her. Dont forget you have your own daughters that are looking at your behavior. Im sure they are embarrased also. You might want to ask them…

You got that right on this Jackie person being the biggest fake. Somebody needs to knock her off her high horse. Her husband was the biggest joke in the NBA because of her. Everyone made fun of them! What makes her think that this poor girl just ‘HAD’ to go to her stupid wedding. Especially since she bad mouthed Draya so much—who does she think she is!!?? Nothing but a jealous old biatch!!!!
She is so ridiculous with all these stupid yearly marriage ceremonies. They should save their money for when the day comes that they have none left (as happens a lot to these old NBA guys). I can tell you that these women’s hatred and treatment of Draya has backfired on all of them. The majority of these women are a bunch of ‘baby mamas’ whose men didn’t think enough of them or respected them enough to marry them.

I am so tired of the fighting and ganging up on draya. i hate that this goes on . im not watching the show any more and all the ladies that pick on have anything to do or say about draya should be ashame of themselves. they call them selves ladies and they are like beast trying to hunt and eat the weak. im never watching this show again .i think that the real women of this world should all not watch to take a stand against this mess

You ‘ladies’ as grown ‘over-privileged’ black women need to remember that Draya is young, and if you think back to when you were 25/26 how many mistakes have you made between then and now? You all were looking for a reason to hate her the moment you saw her–she is very beautiful; however you ladies spend way too much time making her a relevant factor in your minds…google your damn selves! With friends like them (all of them) you sure don’t need enemies. They need to be ashamed of themselves. They are Draya’s judge, jury and executioner. So sad to see grown women acting like a bunch of JEALOUS TEEN AGERS. They judged Draya from the day they met her and haven’t given her a chance. Stop picking on her. WOW i just read your response and i almost said the exact same thing!!! aren’t they funny?? i always wonder what they do when they are not looking for dirt on Draya? life is so precious and short–and ok, Jackie told her husband ‘o you didn’t get to meet Draya’..when she probably deep down inside is very glad she didn’t come. these women need to show a little more than jealousy on this show…do any of you have jobs??

I think Imani is jealous of Draya. and she is trying to discredit Draya because Draya knows something about Imanis
ex. None of them have the right to judge anyone.They need to look in the mirror and see all of the flaws.
