'Teen Mom 2' Jenelle Evans, Being A Mom Is An Every Day Job, Not Just A Do It When You Feel Like It Sort Of Activity!

Tue, September 20, 2011 1:15pm EST by 8 Comments

Jenelle seems to think spending one Saturday with Jace makes her a real mommy! Well, someone better knock some sense into that girl!

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has a long road ahead of her. While she’s working on her double probation sentences for charges of simple affray (fighting with her former friend Britany Truett in a public place) and possession of drug paraphernalia — she’s already violated the terms of her probation more than once for having positive drug tests and being in the presence of a drug abuser, her ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp. The judge gave Jenelle a second chance during her probation violation hearing — and so far she’s staying on track. She’s even spending time with her 2-year-old son Jace. The problem is, she seems to pick and choose when she feels like seeing him.

Over the weekend, Jenelle took Jace on a fabulous trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. where they went on a $595 private pirate cruise and also to the local Ripley’s Aquarium. Jace got to look at jellyfish close up and even dig for pirates’ treasure. The day after the adventure — Sept. 18 — Jenelle tweeted a ton of pics of their adorable trip.

But while it seemed like a fun mother-son outing, a film crew was right by Jenelle and Jace capturing each and every one of their endearing moments on camera. I can only guess that they (MTV) fronted the bill for the cruise as well, but that’s not even the point.

Jenelle has plans to move away from Jace to go and live in a college dorm once she gets accepted into a different school in Wilmington, N.C. And though she takes Jace to dance classes every week, she doesn’t seem to spend time with him on a regular basis.

I am rooting for Jenelle to keep her life on the right track and finish school or else how is she going to make a life for her and Jace? But at the same time, she needs try to spend as much time with him as possible.

Jace is at an age where he really needs his mommy around him all of the time. And Jenelle seems to forget that being a mom isn’t just a once in a while, do it when you feel like it activity. It’s a full time, every day and every hour job! Jenelle’s just not filling that job description by spending one Saturday with her son.

HollyMoms — do you agree that Jenelle needs to spend more time with Jace?

I think janelle is doing the best she can and yea she could spend more time with jace but the last thing she needs is critisizing articles like this one! So what if the show paid for it? Atleast shes spending time with him.

Ok she is a horrible mother, being a mother means your going to take care of your child and on serveral occasions she has chosen her ex boyfriend over her son. That is not a mom, it a immature child. And moving away from you child when Im sure there is a collage close that she could go to and see her child everyday is immature. She needs to grow up or get out of that childs life. Its a teast only being able to see his mommy when she feels like ACTING like a mom.

Shes already violated her probation again. A condition of her probation for the girl fight was that she couln’t have any contact with anyone there at the fight and on her fan page she says going to hang out with Nick Mullen tonight, which he was there at the fight. VIOLATION!!!!

What ever happened to real journalism where truth actually mattered. If all you need is rumors and bs to be a journalist its no wonder so many people write for this stupid site.

I just don’t understand how any online journalist thinks they know enough about Jenelle’s life to know how much of her time is spent with her son.

With that being said, her going to college and getting a degree in something is going to be more beneficial to Jace in the long run than her continuing to get in trouble with the law.

Yes, her going to college is going to benefit Jace. However, doing drugs, getting in fights, going to jail, not even going to class, surrounding herself with drug addicts is NOT going to benefit Jace. So the whole “college” thing kinda gets thrown out the window, don’t you think? It’s pointless to go to college if you’re so high you don’t remember what you learned in class.

I don’t think she should spend more time with him. She is a lost cause. She should stay away and let her mother raise him. I would hate to grow up and realize that my mother only spent time with me for the cameras, or to get some good pictures to tweet. Very, very sad.
