Rob’s name has been thrown out in connection with Steven Soderbergh’s new movie ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ alongside other actors like Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard and Leonardo DiCaprio! Is it hot in here or is it just us?

Robert Pattinson is in high demand, as are fellow sexy actors Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard and Leonardo DiCaprio, so it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. has reportedly put all of these men, along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper, on their wishlist for upcoming Steven Soderbergh movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E. But which of these two sought-after actors will score the lead roles?

It seems like everything is still up in the air with the film, which is a 1960s period piece set in London during the Cold War and is based on an adaptation of the ’60s TV show. George Clooney was originally attached to the project but had to drop out because of a bad back.

The Playlist reports that in addition to Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, WB has put forth a wishlist including Robert Pattinson, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Pine, Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jon Hamm, and Russell Crowe. Director Steven Soderbergh also apparently met with The Killing‘s Joel Kinnaman at Comic-Con.

The movie centers around an American and Russian spy that worked with U.N.C.L.E. (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement) to battle an organization known as T.H.R.U.S.H (Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity).

We would love to see Rob in a spy drama with any of the men the WB are looking to cast but at this point it seems like he could run into a scheduling conflict with upcoming movie Unbound Captives, which begins filming in the spring. The Soderbergh movie plans to start filming in February 2012. However, filming schedules are always subject to change so anything is possible.

What do you guys think? Which of these guys would you like to see in a spy film together? Sound off in your comments below!
