So Christina Hendricks isn’t shy about showing off her bodaciousness on many red carpets, including at the Emmys in a figure-flaunting Johanna Johnson gown, but should she decline to discuss her incredible curves?
Mad Men‘s stunning red head whose curves have helped re-introduce womenly figures to Hollywood casting directors , got all shy when asked about them backstage at the Emmys last night, Sept. 18.
When a reporter queried: ”rumor has it that you don’t like talking about your fabulous figure — tell me this isn’t true,” Christina replied: “So you decided to ask me. I’m an actress and I love talking about the work. We’re so excited about being here together. That’s what I really like to talk about.”
So here’s my question — should Christina refuse to discuss what’s actually an important point — that she’s made it OK for fuller-figured women to be accepted in Hollywood and for all curvier women to feel good about themselves — or should she feel that that’s an insult to her work as an actress?
I think she can do both! Talk about her fabulous figure and her fantastic work. What do you think Hollywoodlifers?
