Unlike other awards shows that seem to drag on endlessly, last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards practically flew by — and we think it was because of all the hilarious moments throughout the show! From the minute Jane Lynch started the opening number, we knew we in for a crazy three hours.
We loved what the show did with the presentation of this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy award, bringing all of the nominees on stage for a mock beauty pageant. It was hysterical watching Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Martha Plimpton, Edie Falco, Laura Linney and Melissa McCarthy sweat it out; and when Melissa was ultimately presented with her crown and flowers, the hilarious moment turned into a really sweet one.
