The actor realized he needed to raise his game when he heard his toddler twins Vivienne and Knox talking to each other in a foreign tongue!
Brad Pitt has to learn a new language just so he can communicate with his wife Angelina Jolie and kids Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – because they’re all now fluent in French!“All our kids are speaking French, so now we have that second language infused into our home,” Brad tells Parade magazine.
“Even the twins as babies were saying certain things in French.”
It’s become such an urgent problem for Brad, he’s splashed out hundreds of dollars on the Rosetta Stone learning program, so he can pick up the language super quick.
He explains, “I’ve got the Rosetta Stone for French sitting right on the table in the bedroom, and it’s going to be loaded into my brain. I know there are certain synapses in my brain that just freeze dead at French, but I have to learn it because our kids are speaking it.”
Good luck Brad… or rather, bonne chance!

good for Brad learning a foreeign language is always an asset though it’s harder as an adult than it is as a child.for example Vanessa Redgrave took Italian in high school in the mid 1950′s and still speaks it fluently now so much so that her famous line in Cars II is in Italian then repeated by her Italian husband in english when Lightening Mcqueen asks what she said. in English the line is she who finds a friend finds a treasure
