Taylor Lautner revealed exclusively to Hollywoodlife.com his true feelings on being compared to THE action film star, Tom Cruise. Does he love it or hate it?Taylor said, “I don’t know if I can handle that. He has been an idol of mine since I was a little little kid. Its amazing and such an honor but those are some pretty big shoes to fill!”
We think Taylor is definitely up for the challenge! Get ready to see him be someone completely different than Jacob from the Twilight series!

They were both teenagers when they started acting. Tom Cruise was only 17 years old at that time when he filmed Endless Love back in 1980 and was released in 1981. While Taylor Lautner started as young as 9 in Shadow Fury in 2001 but he didn’t became noticed until he appeared in a The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D in 2005, he was 13. So Taylor Lautner was at the same age when Tom Cruise became a big-time movie star in Taps.
Of course that there is only one Michael Jordan in the world and only one Michael Jackson in the world. And nobody can be in the same level as those two great legends. It’s hard to top them.
