Happy Birthday, Amy Poehler! You're 40 Today, September 16!

We can’t believe Amy is celebrating the big 4-0 today! She’s still as gorgeous, and funny, as ever!

Amy Poehler, who is married to the star of NBC‘s new sitcom Up All Night, Will Arnett, has had a wonderful year! Not only is her show Parks and Recreation heading into it’s new season, but she’s been a pro at balancing work and motherhood!

It’s hard to believe she gave birth to her second son Abel a little over a year ago, it seems just like yesterday! And the mom-of-two, who also has a 2½-year-old son Archie, has loved every second of raising her rambunctious boys!

“There’s a certain chaos that is kind of fun. Like when you already have one kid in diapers and all that stuff you might as well just keep it going,” Amy told AOL TV. “I feel very blessed and very lucky to even have kids. I kind of count each one as a straight up blessing. But yes, it’s total madness. You really, really learn the lesson of just living in the moment because you just can’t plan anything. Kids just really teach you to just enjoy this now because five minutes from now, you could be losing it.”

We hope Amy has a wonderful 40th birthday and we hope Will planned a huge party for her, she deserves it!
