Set sail, ‘Delena’ shippers! Season three is looking more promising than ever.

If the bloody etchings on my arm are correct, there are only TWO days left until the third season premiere of The Vampire Diaries, and the good people at The CW have eased all of our yearnings with a hot new poster! Once again, we see new lovebirds Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) lurking in the shadows, while Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) throw themselves a little hand-holding party in the foreground.

If you’ve read anything I’ve written before — recaps, previews, grocery lists — you’ll know I’m an unabashed fan of the Damon/Elena romance. And I can’t wait to see what these two have in store for us in season three!
