Sarah Jessica Parker shares her four ‘B’s’ of raising James Wilkie, 8, and 2-year-old twin girls Loretta and Tabitha! Read on to find out what they are and how they can help you as a mom.
Sarah Jessica Parker has a glamourous life, but at the end of the day she’s just “mom.” HollyBaby.com attended the premiere of Sarah’s new film I Don’t Know How She Does It on Sept. 12 and we learned that although Sarah, 46, wears fabulous clothes and attends amazing events with her husband and fellow actor Matthew Broderick, 49, she rolls up her sleeves and battles bedtime just like all mommies!
“There’s different schools … different kids. Some kids are easy and some kids are not,” Matthew told us about bedtime at at the premiere hosted by the Cinema Society, with QVC & Palladium. “James is difficult. Our daughters are easy. [James] wasn’t always difficult. He’s not difficult now … he’ just doesn’t like to sleep!”
But luckily Sarah has learned a thing or two from girlfriends and sage advice from her own mother!
“I’ve learned a lot from other mothers,” Sarah told us. “I think the four B’s: bath, book, bottle, bed helps me. My mom taught me that years ago when my son [James] was born. We read a book every night and try to limit it to seven or eight books.”
Although bedtime can be a bit chaotic it doesn’t wear out this mom-of-three! Every morning we see pics of Sarah walking James to school and it turns out he helps make things a little bit easier by helping pick out his clothes.
“James more and more picks out his own clothes,” Sarah says. “He’s not terribly interested in it but he has opinions now which is about right.”
If there’s anyone you should take some advice from it’s definitely SJP — she really can do it all!
