Nina loves Ian’s positive attitude & he loves her refreshing honesty! They really are the perfect couple.
If this past weekend’s CW Launch Party was a high school prom, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev would easily have been crowned king and queen. And the Vampire Diaries stars weren’t just being talked about — they also couldn’t stop talking about each other! “She truly enjoys life,” Ian told Us Weekly when asked what he loves about Nina. “Her desire to experience and appreciate everything around her, and chuckle and enjoy it, is great.”
He continued: “When you’re really close to someone, they can make fun of you a lot and get away with it. … But they sort of poke you in all of the places — it all makes sense because they know you so well and it really pisses you off, but it forces you to sort of be introspective and ask yourself, ‘Wow, is that really how people see me?’ Apparently so!”
And Nina certainly didn’t hold back when it was her turn to gush about Ian:
“He always has a positive outlook and positive energy, and he’s always happy,” she told the mag. “He is a glass-half-full kind of guy, not half-empty.”
We can’t get over how cute these two are! On-screen and off, they really are the perfect couple.
