Charice admits she was ‘shaking and crying’ after her emotional performances.
It’s always an honor to sing the National Anthem on TV, but to do so on a day like Sept. 11 is all the more meaningful. So it’s no surprise that Charice was asked to belt out “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America” during the NFL’s 9/11 tribute game on Sept. 11 — and it’s also no surprise that her power-house performance was absolutely incredible.
“Shaking… Crying.. One more performance..” Charice tweeted after performing the National Anthem. Following “God Bless America,” she tweeted, “I’m done! ;’( tears of joy.”
