Charlie’s BFFs talk to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the infamous star’s legendary antics!
Who knew Charlie Sheen had such an eclectic group of friends!
The two hour special was taped at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif. and will air Sept. 19, the same night Ashton Kutcher makes his debut on Two and A Half Men and Charlie’s character gets killed off!
Charlie walked the red carpet solo, as did Brooke. The theme of the red carpet was ancient Greece, with columns decorated with flowers and ten partially-dressed Goddesses painted in white.
HollywoodLife.com spoke to Charlie on the red carpet, where he said he wasn’t nervous — “Do I look nervous?” We thought he looked great!
His pals on the red carpet praised their friend, especially Dog the Bounty Hunter, who told HollywoodLife.com, “Charlie is an amazing friend. He is a nothing short of a genius!”
Brooke was a good sport the whole night, being the brunt of many of the jokes during the roast. At one point, Roast Master Seth MacFarlane even joked, “Brooke is here. She came on her own — without anyone holding a knife to her throat!”
Corbin Bernsen, who worked with Charlie on Major League, told HollywoodLife.com, “Charlie always had a group of hot chicks around him when we were filming the movie.”
He went on to say he was never really worried about Charlie and his bizarre behavior.
“Charlie always comes out on top!”
HollywoodLife.com also spoke EXCLUSIVELY to Charlie’s best friend Tony Todd, who said, “We played high school baseball together. We have known each other for 35 or 40 years. If Charlie wasn’t an actor, he would be a professional baseball player. He is an amazing athlete. He would give all this up to be able to bat in major league baseball.”
Kevin Cronin, lead singer of REO Speedwagon, even sang to HollywoodLife.com and spoke about his good friend Charlie.
The Roasters included Anthony Jeselnik, Jeffrey Ross, Steve-O, Jon Lovitz, Amy Schumer, Mike Tyson, Patrice O’Neal, the hysterical William Shatner and Kate Walsh.
