The star got a very short haircut for her role in the film, ‘Gimme Shelter,’ but has been seen wearing hair extensions almost just as often as she wears her hair naturally.

Vanessa Hudgens revealed to InStyle.com that she keeps clip-in hair extensions in her bag so that she can have long hair in seconds. “Tonight, I wanted to go boho. Short hair wouldn’t really work with this hat, so I just pulled these [extensions] out of my bag and clipped them in,” she explains.

The cut seems to be growing on Vanessa. She says she loves it!

“I do love my short hair, but sometimes you just want to change things up a bit.”

That’s certainly understandable. When you have long hair, you can pin it back, but with short hair, your only option is to add in extensions. Way to keep your hairstyles interesting, Vanessa!
