The young daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith is already five years old! Can you believe it?

And Dannielynn‘s father, Larry Birkhead, will never let his daughter forget about her mother Anna Nicole Smith. He says the little lady is “very smart” and curious about her late mommy, who died at the age of 39, just five months after Dannielynn was born.

Sadly, Anna Nicole’s 20-year-old son Daniel passed away three short days after Danielynn was born. There was a huge paternity controversy after Anna Nicole died a few months later until it was determined that Larry was in fact Dannielynn’s biological father.

“She can walk by her picture and she’ll give a kiss to her mom in a photo album, or at Christmas, we were sitting at home and The Naked Gun came on with her mom in it, and I let her see an appropriate little clip of that, and she knew right away her mom was, you know, ‘There’s my mom. That’s Anna Nicole,’” Larry explained earlier this year.

“My goal was always to keep Daniel and Anna in her mind and let her know who they were without overdoing it,” Larry added. “You have a responsibility to keep Anna’s memory alive.”
