Bachelorette Ashley Hebert may have crushed Ben Flajnik‘s heart when she turned down his proposal and got engaged to J.P. Rosenbaum, but now Ben is getting his own chance to chase love as ABC’s next Bachelor. And Ben’s super excited to star as The Bachelor!
“Secret is out,” Ben, 28, tweeted Sept. 6. ”Looking forward to my new journey as the new bachelor! #booya”
Ben’s best friend and former Bachelorette castmate Constantine Tzortzis is just as excited for Ben, but he doesn’t think Ben needs any advice for the show. “@E_Maks24 @BenFlajnik is my boy, if he needed my help/advise I’m always there but something tells me he’s got this one covered,” Constantine wrote on Sept. 6.
Bachelor host Chris Harrison jumped on board to show his support for Ben as well. “Yes it’s official @BenFlajnik is #Thebachelor Looking forward to a great season & lots of wine!” Chris tweeted.
And another producer, Elan G., also shared his congrats with Ben: “@BenFlajnik hey dude. a hug is in order.”
