Beyonce always said she wanted kids by the time she was 30 and now her dream is coming true — she’s pregnant!

This is probably one of the most exciting birthdays for mom-to-be Beyonce now that she knows her dream of starting a family with her hubby Jay-Z, 41, is finally coming true. The all-star couple is expecting their first child early next year and we can’t wait!

“She wasn’t going to announce it, but she was so excited she couldn’t hold it in,” a friend of Beyonce, who announced her pregnancy live at the MTV VMAs, tells Us Weekly.

“They were trying but didn’t expect it,” the source adds. “They thought it would take longer. It was an amazing surprise!”

And an even more amazing birthday present! We can’t wait for This is going to be the best year of Beyonce’s life and we can’t wait to share all her joy! Happy Birthday B!
