Are you looking to lose those post-baby pounds like new mommy Jessica Alba? Well then, follow her fitness routine!
Jessica Alba, 30, who just gave birth to her second child, daughter Haven, two weeks ago is already back in the gym! And she’s sharing her fitness regimen with all her fans — are you ready to get in shape or lose those pregnancy pounds, HollyMoms?
“I did my first day of wrkout since I had the baby, just cardio for 40 min,” Jessica Tweeted, “it’s a start. Anyone else starting a fitness regimen?”
“my doc told me I could start after 2 wks. -im going light, stationary bike and elliptical,” she added.
And it seems like her tweets got a lot of new moms talking! The actress started throwing out her exercise tips to her fans and followers and now everyone’s getting back in great shape!
“start with walking and throw in 3 sets of lunges 20 per leg. U could do it while strolling ur baby,” Jessica tweeted, “commit to 10 min a day for a wk then add another 10 until u get up 2 40 min a day. It’s easier to ease into it.”
Jessica also revealed that just like anyone else, she doesn’t stick to a healthy eating plan 24/7 — she finds time to indulge once a week!
She writes, “I would keep ur diet as healthy as possible 6 days a wk and give urself 1 day to indulge.” And this is coming from someone who hates dieting and working out — wow, we’re impressed Ms. Alba!
“Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state,” she told Lucky magazine before she gave birth to Haven. “Getting dressed and actually doing it is the worst. It’s hard to get motivated.”
“In the gym, I have, like, five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines.
Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out.”
We agree — but lets get motivated!

Ms Alba is an Idiot or her doctor is no good ob/gyn says you can work out 2 weeks after birth for vaginal delivery it’s most often at least 4 weeks and for c-section at least six weeks so you don’t risk popping the stitches and getting an infection particularly if you choose to nurse which she isn’t most star moms don’t for vanity issues and claim they can’t because the baby won’t latch on or is allergic to milk or something stupid like that though sometimes the latching thing is true
