Russell Armstrong’s nephew spoke to HollywoodLife.com today and revealed TV producers never contacted the family about the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ special addressing his death.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills filmed a special episode yesterday focusing on Russell Armstrong‘s tragic suicide. We spoke to Russell’s nephew Austin Kelsoe about how he feels about the episode and he says, “I don’t see the necessity of doing it.”
Austin, 18, continues, “I feel that out of respect [TV producers] should have contacted my family members and asked them for permission first before deciding to tape a special about my uncle.”
Although he’s upset that they decided to film it without notice, he hopes that the show will remain respectful in their depiction of Russell. “Obviously if it’s done in good taste, my family and I won’t have a problem with it. We will have to wait and see what it’s all about and how my uncle is portrayed.”
59% of you thought this was a respectful decision on Bravo’s part, so hopefully everything was spoken about in a way that won’t cause any further grief for Russell’s loved ones. Taylor was reportedly not filmed for the special.
