Happy Birthday Peggy Lipton, You're 65 Today, August 30!

Can you believe the glamorous model and actress becomes a senior citizen today? She looks at least 20 years younger!

Her daughter, The Office star Rashida Jones, may be a more familiar face now — but in the 1960s and 70s, Peggy Lipton was a household name.The native New Yorker started out as a successful model, before transferring her good looks to the small screen, landing a role in 60s sitcom The John Forsythe Show. Other parts soon followed, including a starring role in cop drama The Mod Squad, which earned Peggy four Golden Globe nominations.

She can sing too, landing a string of singles on the Billboard charts from her one and only album PEGGY LIPTON.

Despite all that, Peggy’s probably most famous for her high profile marriage to music legend Quincy Jones.

During a 16 year relationship, they produced two daughters; actress, model and fashion designer Kidada, 27, and movie and TV star Rashida.

With two such talented kids, Peggy must be a very proud mom!
