Just days after resigning from the helm of Apple, the company’s founder, Steve Jobs, was photographed outside his California home looking gaunt and frail.
Last Wednesday, in an open resignation letter, Steve, 55, said he was leaving his post, but he did not cite his health, even though this photo on TMZ.com taken on Saturday, shows a very sick-looking man.
His resignation comes after a six-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He previously had surgery to remove a tumor after being diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer in 2003 and had a liver transplant two years ago in a further attempt to prevent the spread of the disease.
Apple’s chief operating officer, Tim Cook, is now at the helm of Apple.
