Should Selena have been careful about mentioning her new boyfriend in front of her ex?
Selena Gomez is super happy with new boyfriend Justin Bieber, but that doesn’t mean she’s desensitized by the appearance of an ex. The “Who Says” singer presented with ex-BF Taylor Lautner at the VMAs last night, but mentioned her current man in front of him. Is this a no-no?
The 19-year-old starlet came face to face with Taylor, also 19, while the two presented the Best New Artist VMA to Tyler the Creator at MTV’s hip-pop fest on Sunday. Of course, the category just so happened to be one that her new man — who laid his claim this year during a PDA-filled pre-show presentation – won just last year. So was it insensitive or did she come off as bragging about her happiness, regardless of whether or not show producers had her say the line? What should you do in a similar situation?
It’s largely believed that the Twilight star dumped Selena, and not vice versa. At the time of their breakup in 2009, it was reported that the Disney starlet wasn’t famous enough for his rising star image, so he cut his ties.
The brunette beauty has also gone of record recently talking about how she never felt comfortable in a past relationship and changed herself because of it; she has since vowed never to lose herself again.
In this situation, it’s fine for the actress/singer to have mentioned her new boyfriend. She had a legitimate reason, and if the rumors are to be believed, Taylor broke her heart. What’s wrong with a little kiss-off ‘I’m doing fine without you?’ kind of vibe? Nothing!
However, if you broke up with him or the pain of your relationship is still raw, it’s pretty insensitive to mention your new guy. You wouldn’t want him to cause you pain, right? So offer him the same consideration you’d want.

Beceause taylor swift dated taylor lautner and selena or taylor s.
Said once that they never date the ex-bf from eachother if the other had a broken heart beceause of him.
