Selena looked adorable as she interviewed celebs including her beau but didn’t she seem a bit nervous?
Selena Gomez can do it all, but is hosting her forte? The 18-year-old popstar grinned from ear-to-ear as she hosted the MTV VMAs pre-show special on Aug. 28 and we think she did great! We’re sure she was nervous, but wouldn’t you be?
At times Selena seemed stiff like when she interviewed Britney Spears and only managed to tell her how great she looked … about three times. Then when she interviewed Justin Bieber, she didn’t seem the least bit affectionate or flirty!
Only once did she feel relaxed, and that was when Selena had her bestie Demi Lovato next to her at the beginning of the pre-show.

Yup, I think Selena did a pretty good job! She already has some experience when she was the co-host at the MMVA’s in Canada. So this “hosting business” going on- is not completely new to her!
Anyway, even if she didn’t have past experience she would’ve done great anyway.

The show-director tells the interviewer how much time he can use for an interview.
And in 30 seconds you do not get the century-interview.
Selena Gomez knows firsthand, how to treat one interviewee.
