The actress pulled out of the remake this month after discovering she’s expecting her first baby with husband Mike Comrie — but her happy news HASN’T left her without a nice paycheck!
Hilary Duff had a clause written into her Bonnie & Clyde contract, saying producers had to pay her even if she didn’t end up starring in the movie. To the tune of $100,000. That’s some baby shower gift!
Movie bosses are currently searching for a baby bump-free Bonnie, with Amanda Seyfried the current favorite.
Despite her big pay-off, Hilary seems unhappy that producers weren’t prepared to hold up production until she has popped out her baby, telling TMZ this weekend, “I don’t wanna give them any more press than they’ve already gotten off me … I think [my] baby is a little bit more exciting.”
We agree - but should Hilary be happy with her paycheck for nothing? Or is she right to be annoyed?

I read TMZ this morning and Hilary’s response/quotes were to her payout. Just their updated story using that clip. Rumors of Hilary leaving were started by the producer earlier in the year and that is what she means by “them getting press off of me” if the reports are true they leaked info, that is truly horrible.
But she sounds happy http://www.lifeandstylemag.com/2011/08/hilary-duff-dreams-shes-having-a-boy-pregnant.html , she probably doesn’t want any stress or drama because she could have taken the producers to court for discrimination, got millions and probably chose not to. I read she had to leave open her schedule to shoot B&C this spring and she must feel irritated they are not willing to modify their schedule for her, too.
