It’s hard to believe this beautiful actress is turning the big 4-0 today!

But then it seems Carla Gugino has been on our TV and movie screens for forever, starting out as a teen actress in TV shows like ALF, Who’s The Boss? and Saved By The Bell, before graduating onto big screen smash hits like the Spy Kids series and Watchmen.2011 is proving to be a big year for Carla — she has FIVE movies out, including Sucker Punch, romantic comedy New Year’s Eve, Jim Carrey comedy Mr. Popper’s Penguins and thriller I Melt With You.

Many of Carla’s movies are collaborations with write boyfriend Sebastian Gutierrez, whose credits including Gothika and Snakes On A Plane.

And she admits Sebastian’s writing skills are what attracted her to him. She once said, “I’m really amazed at people who come up with something out of nothing — writers. I find it to be an incredible talent. But what’s been really nice is because we have worked together so many times and have a real trust in each other, it’s always an exciting moment when hot off the presses, I get the next script of his.”
