Adam Levine Tweets A 'F**k You' To The MTV VMAs! Ouch!

Sun, August 28, 2011 3:12pm EDT by 4 Comments

Adam tweeted that the Video Music Awards are the one night a year when MTV ‘pretends’ to care about music!

Adam Levine is not MTV’s biggest fan. The Voice coach and Maroon 5 frontman had some harsh words for the network and its awards show!

Adam tweeted, “the VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. f**k you VMA’s.”

But the singer didn’t feel any regret from his words. “still waiting to have my “jerry macguire mission statement moment of deep regret…” not happening. phew!” he added in another tweet.

Wow! Adam is pretty bold to say what he thinks!

Don’t miss out on our VMA party on Facebook – RSVP to attend for a chance to win prizes, make new friends & chat directly with the HollywoodLife staff at the show!

Adam is just mad he wasn’t nominated for any awards.

You know what? I’m actually fed up of people complaining about MTV not being about ‘music’ anymore.

With YouTube, the Internet, torrents, many other music channels…who wants to watch the TV for music when they can do it online?

MTV’s ratings were decreasing heavily, so they decided to do something to save MTV, and that’s when they decided to add Reality TV shows because they knew that would get back their audience.

So you can’t really blame them. Stop complaining.
