Rob Pattinson's BFF's Shocking New Claim: R-Patz Stole My Song For The 'Twilight' Soundtrack!

Fri, August 26, 2011 5:45pm EST by 30 Comments

No one can forget the first time they heard Robert Pattinson singing on the ‘Twilight’ movie soundtrack. Now, his close pal is letting everyone know the song actually belongs to him!

It seems Robert Pattinson can do no wrong. The 24-year-old mega star captured every girls heart playing vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight, but his contribution to the movie’s soundtrack singing the song “I Was Broken” solidified him as a bonafide star whose talents went far beyond his impeccable acting ability and drool worthy good looks.

While the majority of Robsessed fans have been under the impression that it was Rob who wrote the song, his close friend Marcus Foster recently revealed in an interview that isn’t the case and the songs success was a fluke!

“He sang it ['I Was Broken'] in a pub and someone recorded it on their phone,” he said. “We used to sing each other songs a few years ago and that one just got up on the internet and it went crazy, but it’s my song.”

Although Rob doesn’t have any plans to record an album anytime soon, we hope more of his music will pop up on the internet…it’s almost too good to be true!

Do you want Rob to release a record? Sound off in the comments below!

Похоже у Роба на одного друга стало меньше. Жаль, что ему завидуют чёрной завистью. И у него нет истинного друга.

Is this site run by idiots?

First: Rob stated that it was Marcus’ song before he sang it.
Second: This song IS NOT ON THE TWILIGHT SOUNDTRACK.
Third: The clip is on youtube, I don’t see how you could even write this article without doing a little research. Google is your friend and youtube is too.

Rob and Marcus are still best friends. Rob wore Marcus’ shirt at the Teen Choice Awards in 2010, they still hang out with each other. If you listen to the audio, Marcus is joking. He’s pretending to be jealous that Rob sang his song at an open mic night.

You guys blow everything out of proportion and ignore what’s right under your noses. So far this year Rob’s avoided being in the same city with Kristen for 102 days, there’s your story.

When BD filming ended, Rob went to Europe for the WFE publicity tour by himself. Then he went to work on Cosmopolis where he was alone for 7 weeks. He’s been alone in LA now for 27 days for a total of 102 days he hasn’t spent with Kristen.

They’ve only been in the same city (LA, SD or Toronto) for 27 days since they ended their last Twilight movie. That’s a fact, the calendar doesn’t lie. And it doesn’t matter which one of them was working, they’re both adults and they choose to work rather than spend time with each other. Rob doesn’t appear to be working now, but until he gives an interview, no one knows for sure. Whatever, he hasn’t rushed to London to see her.

Get some help…the counting of the days is extreme. You may be fourteen years old or forty, but you need to let go of your obsession. All the pictures (at home with parents, with friends, at weddings) and the fact that their costars have even commented that they adopted a dog together indicates that they are in a serious relationship. Who knows the actuality, but for you to claim that Rob is avoiding her is just dumb. You don’t actually know him. Get some fresh air and realize that it is all just fun gossip in the end.

In the full interview Marcus also says that he and Rob sing each others songs. They’re best friends, Rob’s closest mates are all musicians, Bobby Long and Sam Bradley, who Rob’s been spending his vacation time with in LA this month.

1. That song wasn’t on the soundtrack.
2. Who cares, anyway? Robert’s accused of lots of things.

‘I was broken’ wasn’t on the Twilight soundtrack and if you listen to what he’s saying before he starts singing on the video of ‘I was broken’, you can hear him saying something like ‘This song is by Marcus Foster’…It’s not like he even needs to rob someone’s song, he writes his own…

Your drive for hits makes you look idiotic. How about starting with the fact that “I Was Broken” wasn’t on the Twilight soundtrack. Rob sang the song at an open mic before he even made Twilight. And yes, in the video of that open mic appearance he says, “The song is called ‘I Was Broken’. It’s by Marcus Foster.”

Everyone knows who wrote the song. And Marcus was laughing about it in that interview.

Do you ever even check your stories for accuracy? Come on, you should know by now that Rob’s fans are going to call you out on BS. Which is exactly what this article is. The two songs on the Twilight soundtrack were “Let Me Sign” and “Never Think”. I think you just post controversial headlines to get hits on your website. The headline claims Rpatz stole my song but the story says nothing of that. STAR and US WEEKLY have better reporting than you do. Everything you write is CRAP!

Um – Rob’s fans know, and have known that Marcus wrote “I Was Broken” – which was NOT on the Twilight Soundtrack. Another song co-written by Marcus and fellow Britpacker Bobby Long – “Let Me Sign” was a special track on the soundtrack that Rob performed. Additionally, Sam Bradley co-wrote the other song Rob sang on the soundtrack – “Never Think” (also known and performed by Sam as “Too Far Gone”.) All of them – Sam, Bobby, Marcus and I guess Rob ;) are extremely talented and deserving songwriters/singers. Simply amazing. If anyone has a chance – please go and see them – you will be glad you did!
