After two months of treatment, Amber Portwood is ready to be checked out of rehab.

Teen Mom starlet has endured a rocky road since her life became public news after she starred in MTV’s 16 And Pregnant series. Amber hit rock bottom in June when she attempted to hang herself, and ever since her suicide attempt, the reality starlet has been seeking treatment at the Seasons Recovery Center in Malibu. According to Radar, Amber is now ready to be released and will be heading home to Anderson, In.

“After she settles in, she is going to head to the area her brother lives in in Tennessee, she wants to check out houses in the area as she is considering leaving Indiana,” said a source close to the Teen Mom star.

Amber is in desperate need of a fresh start, and returning to the same toxic relationship with baby daddy Gary Shirley will be difficult for her recovery. She needs to be close to a positive support system, like her brother, so she can focus on getting her life back in order. Right now Amber is at risk of losing permanent custody of her daughter Leah, according to Gary’s Lawyer.

We hope that Amber has learned the tools in treatment to escape her unhealthy relationship, so she can reestablish order in her life and be the best mother for Leah. Tell us what you think! Do you think leaving Indiana would be a good decision for Amber?
