Selena Gomez Says She’s Not Going To college!

Selena Gomez says she’s happy with continuing to pursue her career in hollywood and has no intentions of going to college anytime soon!

With a hit new single, cross-country tour and one of the hottest boyfriends in Hollywood, Selena Gomez has no intentions of leaving the industry. The young starlet told the Ralphie Radio Show, that while she’ll never rule out college as option, right now it is not one of her priorities.

“I’m of course always open to that, but at the moment I’m definitely enjoying where I’m at right now and having a great time touring and focusing on that,” Selena said to the radio show.

We can’t argue that the starlet has a bright career in front of her, but we hope that one day she’ll take a break and pursue higher education. Stars like Dakota Fanning and Miranda Cosgrove have decided to try and balance their successful careers while still attending college. But we can’t really blame Selena, who would want to spend more time apart from Justin Bieber?

Why the hell are people flipping out? She has already made more money and reached more success than people her age (and older) who are in college so why should she go? She clearly loves to act and sing, and hello she’s making bank for it, you go to college to find what you want to do for a living and for a career!!!
Why should she waste the time OR money?

I’m not hating on Selena AT ALL, but I think it’s important for her to have a good education.
No offense, but I really don’t see her in the future being really successful with acting and singing. Every time I look at her I think either Disney or Justin Bieber’s girlfriend..
Having a good education is a good back up plan if your acting/singing/dancing career is on the line.
And plus, wouldn’t it feel good to say like “Yeah I went to college at blah blah, went for 4 years, got my degree, etc”?

I think she is making the wrong decision about not going to college because she should go further in her education and Bieber is not a good choice in a boyfriend for her so I Love you too Selena and come down to Iowa to hang out with me and my roommate

There’s no reason for her to attend college. You’re not anymore likely to get a job if you attend college so what’s the point?

It’s just a waste of money, whatever she studies in college will be a waste as well as she obviously is very into music and acting and anything she can learn for these things can only really be learnt by doing, not studying.

OH and for @Bravo51 , she was famous BEFORE she met Justin Bieber. She has 8 years of acting experience and has been pursing her music career for 2 years now. She’l do just fine with or without Justin so your comment is pretty pointless.

As long as she is smart enough to know that she needs to save up money, etc. who the hell cares if she wants to go to college or not. Its her life.
P.s…as for all her number one fans, stop worrying about her and get an education.

the only reason selena is as famous as she is RIGHT NOW is because she is with justin when they spilt up in a few months as PLANNED her “fame” will fall faster then lindsay lohan at a cocaine party.

and the only reason she says no to college is because she knows the second she steps out of the spot light no one will care for her any more and will forget about her faster a goldfish. seeing disney has bought her fame and staged this whole bieber romance which will be ending before this year is up. the contract on that publicity relationship is just about over.

I love how you obviously think you’ve sussed out their relationship but the only people that truly know what’s going on with Selena and Justin is them two. I don’t believe their relationship is a fake. They’ve been seeing each other a year now, why would they fake a relationship this long? Actually, why would they even fake the relationship in the first place? It’s not like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens when they fake dated to keep the fans happy.

Everyone hated on Selena when she started dating Justin because of they were all his fans, but why would she put her career in jeopardy like that if it was all fake? Why would she face getting things thrown at her and getting death threats through her door? Aw, your theory there just got shot down didn’t it?

It’s a very stupid decision. Selena Gomez may be sweet and have a very famous boyfriend, but she does not have that much talent, and i am sure she wont be famous in 5-10 years.
