What’s with granddads these days? First proud pop Donald Trump lets the news slip about what his daughter Ivanka named her baby girl– Arabella Rose — and now Rod Stewart spills the secret about his brand new granddaughter‘s name!
Rod’s daughter Kimberly Stewart and former flame Benicio Del Toro welcomed a baby girl on August 21 — Kim’s 32nd birthday — making Rod a grandpa for the eighth time. Not to mention the new baby is only six months younger than his son with wife Penny Lancaster, Aiden.
So, ready to find out what the baby’s name is? Drum roll please…
Delilah!
“I’m a grandfather now,” Rod told USA Today, singing out the name Delilah as he talked about his new grandchild. “I’ve been going around blabbing that out for hours now. My joy is indescribable,” he said.

Poor Benicio, he sort of looks like ‘the wolfman’. Negatives aside, I’m sure little Delilah is a beauty. Perhaps a child to care for will give Kimberly Stewart some purpose in life.
