Paul hints that Andy came into ‘some money’ since his days at Camp Firewood. No word about whether or not he’s still sporting that sweet denim jacket, though.

Now that the 10th anniversary of Wet Hot American Summer is upon us, talk of a sequel to the 2001 cult classic comedy is hotter than ever. But rather than wait for the movie to happen (or not), went straight to Paul Rudd to find out what he thinks his character, the ever-faithful Andy, would be up to today. “We did a thing in Wet Hot where they interviewed us ’10 years from now,’ and … I remember saying my character worked for the city,” he told us Aug. 23 at the NYC premiere of The Weinstein Company’s Our Idiot Brother, hosted by The Cinema Society and Altoids.

“I’d had a mishap where I cut off part of my toe, but it was very cryptic,” Paul continued. “[Andy] probably got some money from that.”

So there you have it. Andy may be missing a piece of his foot, but why would he need to walk correctly when he can spend all his time rolling around in piles of money?
