Megan Fox Is Removing Her Marilyn Monroe Tattoo — Find Out Why!

Tue, August 23, 2011 8:00am EST by 8 Comments

The actress once had a big image of the sexy starlet on her forearm, but it’s slowly fading away!

Megan Fox tells Amica magazine that she’s getting rid of her Marilyn Monroe tattoo completely. “I’m removing it,” explains Megan. “It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”

Do you think Megan is right to get rid of something that she thinks is “negative” or is she judging Marilyn too harshly? Have you ever regretted a big decision like marking your body with a tattoo?

I wish she would say she’s getting rid of that tattoo (because no matter how tattoo-lovers will argue the contrary), they give a negative image. They are trashy and vulgar and no matter how much they’re defended, most people hate them. This lady is pretty, but her tattoos make her come across as vulgar.

So she is bashing people who have disorders that were not asked for. Like they choose to be this way. Negativeness is not a symptom by the way. Many artists including actors, writers, and producers are bipolar.

Wow… I’ve always respected Megan Fox but loved Marilyn Monroe so i would kinda think that this is wayyy to off of saying that its a negative character? I don’t believe that, either she couldn’t get a job with that tattoo or someone important to her told her to get rid of it for her career. Marilyn Monroe wasn’t bipolar trust me i know and she obviously went far with her personally disorders of being a icon of the Hollywood golden age so either that’s good luck or really good luck. Yes it has been said she committed suicide but that case has too many loop holes. She was and never is going to be a negative character because her legend is to much of a positive for entertainers in the business.. I’m sorry but i have to disagree with her on that one

I hope that after Megan Fox gets rid of her Monroe tattoo that Hollywood gets rid of her. Fox is nothing compared to Monroe, absolutely nothing.

Oct. 16, 2011 has not happened yet. That picture is definitely mis-dated.
