'Bachelor Pad' Recap: Holly & Michelle Kiss! Will That Help Them Win The Competition?

Plus, tons of drama with Kasey and Vienna — he gives her a ring, and she totally freaks out!

ABC’s Bachelor Pad is a mix of the Bachelor franchise’s best looking, craziest, and most dramatic contestants, who would lie, cheat and sell their BFFs out for $250K — and the Aug. 22 episode had to be the most dramatic one yet!

The flirtation and love triangle between Blake, Holly and Melissa couldn’t have been more awkward, especially when Holly told Melissa, “Flirting is in my nature. I flirt with all the guys.” Nice try, Holly. We can all tell you were eyeing Blake and loving the attention. Now, we all must realize that Melissa is a 32-year-old woman who’s being played by a younger “dentist.” She needs to stop letting him “clean her teeth,” and realize he is leading her on!

During all this, Michael was so calm and I feel bad that his ex-fiancée doesn’t want him back like he wants her. Michael needs a woman who wants to be with him — so maybe he should just be the next Bachelor! (All the single ladies, put your hands up!) The worst past is, Michael doesn’t even realize how much Holly just wants to be free… or be with Blake.

In case you missed it, this week’s competition was synchronized swimming and the judges included Natalie and David, the winners of last season’s Bachelor Pad. The women and men both had to practice and perform together in groups, but instead of a battle of the sexes, one male and female winner was granted a rose. The swimmers were rated based upon technical ability, effort and most importantly, showmanship.

Some girls clearly have the upper hand in this whole competition — Melissa and Holly were cheerleaders — but Vienna still thinks she’s the best thing since sliced bread. She thinks she’s in the best shape and has whole thing in the bag. Vienna needs a reality check! Maybe if she got some sleep, and got rid of those black circles under her eyes, she’d actually win a competition and go on that romantic date with Kasey so he could continue to guard and protect her heart! Since that’s all he can do, maybe Kasey should be a bouncer at a night club! Or a bodyguard for a D-list celebrity, if he’s lucky, since we all know he needs to be in the spotlight!

OK, onto Erica. Can that girl do anything other than wear a crown and lay out by the pool? She can’t dive, can’t keep her mouth shut if her life depended on it, and she definitely can’t swim. Aside from Vienna, Holly and Michelle, the women were a hot mess! I’m also disappointed in Melissa for constantly acting like such a nut job. No wonder she’s 32 and still single! (Blake, run for the hills!)

It has to be said that the guys are so much better than the ladies. Between Jake having been on Dancing with the Stars, and Michael being a trained dancer, the rest of the guys don’t stand a chance. But hey, at least they looked good in their little uniforms; the women’s bathing caps just looked ridiculous!

There was also a little girl-on-girl action this week as Holly and Michelle kissed at the end of the girls’ swim! And maybe an occasional peck on the lips will help them win the $250K, as Michelle ended up winning this week’s competition. As for the guys, Michael won for the second time in a row. It was his cute ending — he spit out water like a fountain — that put him over the top with. (Cute, but it did make a little sick.)

Michelle picked Graham, Blake and Kasey to join her on her wine date — and Vienna’s piercing eyes made it look like she was going to kill Michelle for inviting her man! That red wine did look delicious, though I was scared Michelle was going to dump it on Blake’s head. She pulled him aside and said that Melissa is her good friend and he better make things OK. (Um, really, Michelle? Since when you were friends with that psycho?)

Anyway, Blake seemed scared of her and she told him not to lead Melissa on. He knows he needs to kiss some butt and apologize — it’s all part the game, etc. He eventually told her the truth, but hey, why admit you just want to be friends with someone when you’re playing a big mind game? In the end, Graham got the rose since Michelle is lusting over him.

For Michael’s turn, he picked Ella, Vienna and Holly. Basically, this was just an excuse for him to see Holly again and try and get back together. They went horse-back riding and Vienna complained the whole time that she didn’t want to wear a helmet, she was hot, she missed Kasey, and blah blah blah! Enough of her! She’s such a spoiled, ungrateful brat! And here’s a shocker: Holly got the rose, which was followed by a private concert during which Bret Michaels sang “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”

Back at the house, Blake made heart-shaped waffles — how corny! Really, is he that bored or is he just trying to win Melissa back? Meanwhile, Erica and Jake made out and we had to hear about her maintained, injected lips.

Now to the best part: Kasey thinks he is the best at everything, but he got a taste of his own medicine this week. Not only did he give Vienna a promise ring for their 6-month anniversary and scared her since she thought it might be an engagement ring, but he was also in danger of going home, with the worst voice in America! (Can he be any cheesier?)
