Kim Kardashian’s mom may have co-founded her own church, but for Kim’s wedding, it was Kris Humphries’ hometown pastor who officiated the ceremony.
“The wedding was very religious,” a wedding guest tells HollywoodLife.com. “Kris Humphries‘ family pastor Joel Johnson officiated the wedding,”
Considering the Kardashians—not the Humphries—essentially planned the entire wedding, it was considered a nice gesture to the Humphries, that it was their pastor who officiated the ceremony.
In January, Kim revealed to CNN’s Piers Morgan, “There’s a charity that I work with a lot that I donate money all the time, the Dream Foundation, and my mom has helped create a church, so we help fund that, it’s in Calabasas.”
Kim was referring to tax-exempt contributions to the LifeChange Community Church, which was founded by Kris Jenner and Reverend Brad Johnson, who married Kim’s sister Khloe and Lamar Odom in September 2009.
